They were "romantically involved." He was a New Jersey attorney, suspended from the practice of law. He alleged he paid all the costs to maintain certain property owned by her. As a result, he claimed an interest in that property. But due to a series of procedural irregularities, his case was dismissed, without an adjudication on the merits.
