The Brazilian grandmother of a New Jersey boy illegally kept in that country for 4 years will get a chance to fight in court for the right to see him. The New Jersey Appellate Division ordered a hearing and reversed the decision denying visitation between Silvana Bianchi Ribeiro and her 12-year-old grandson, Sean Goldman. The 5-year battle to return Sean to his father, David Goldman, took twists in New Jersey and Brazilian courts and focused on international child kidnappings by family members. D.G.G. v. B.B.G.
